From 1952(Shōwa 27), we added to our high school and college rosters year by year. However, there was no improvement in administration; in fact, it had grown worse. So finally, I decided to take charge of the accounting and become chief director from 1954(Shōwa 29). I have continued so until today, having Fumiko help me with the administrative duties.

Thinking back, from February 1944(Shōwa 19) to January 1945(Shōwa 20), most of our school building was destroyed by the big earthquake, and for ten years, until 1954(Shōwa 29), the time flew by without us being able to repair anything. However, once we had employed Fumiko, we replaced the broken window panes in the current music room, then relocated the half-destroyed areas and made the inside repairs so that lessons could be taught in the wooden school building there.
